Hampton Court Palace is located to the south-west of London, on the edge of the River Thames, surrounded by land & spectacular private grounds. Hampton Court Palace, King Henry 8’s to die for waterside palace is placed in more than five-hundred acres of wooded areas and gardens.
Inducing the tone of over four hundred and fifty years of heritage, fancy dressed entertainers can be watched all through Henry 8ths and King William 3rds magnificent private accommodations. The sights, noise and disgusting odours of the excellent Tudor kitchens where royal banquets were set-up for Henry?s dinning room of well over 1000 folks can also be viewed.
Hampton Court Palace has been divided into six distinct routes or outings. The Maze at Hampton Court Palace that is built on the River Thames to the west of the City is in all probability the most loved hedge maze in the world.
Hampton Court palace has a dreadful tradition and is allegedly owned by quite a lot of ghouls, including 2 of Henry’s deceased wives & a nurse to his children. Hampton Court Palace keepers and personnel will be close at hand to aid visitors to their selected state dwelling for a cava and canap?s greeting. Uniformed callers will announce dinner & guests will be asked to find their places for a breathtaking two course dinner with the best fine red wines. Discover Hampton Court London, one of the many wonders to visit in London.
Hampton Court Palace has sixty acres of formal private grounds on-top-of the six-hundred acres of royal land. The royal grounds date back to the 16th Century, when the first Privy Garden was put down between fifteen thirty and 1538 for King Henry VIII.
I am pursuing my final career - and I am quite comfortable working a 40-hour schedule for the first time in my life. I take my time and pick my clients carefully.
I get to take a day off here and there for golf, and I travel around the western states every couple of months. Over the past two years I have been keeping an eye out for the perfect spot to retire in the Western US.
I now live in a small community near the Bay Area in Northern California. I’ve lived here for 20+ years, and it has been great. The Bay Area is vibrant, has a good climate, and is home to some of the most creative people on the planet. But it certainly isn’t paradise.
It is an expensive place to live. The highways are congested. The boarders of the US are out of control and that has hit California hard. The government is dysfunctional, and we pay a premium for that. While we have good weather, it is great half the year and somewhat over-rated the other half. My business has changed over the past five years. I can do about 80% - 90% of it from anywhere. That’s the beauty of information and communication technology.
Let me share with you what I have found as I looked for better working/ retirement locations in the western US.
- Portland, Oregon area; especially Southern Washington
- Prescott, Arizona
- Northern Baja, Mexico
- Hilo, the big island of Hawaii
- Boise, Idaho
Southern Washington: I recently visited a friend who built his dream house on a few acres in Southern Washington, about 30 minutes from Portland. His 2,500 square foot house cost about the same as a acre lot in the Bay Area. He is within easy drive of a good airport and Oregon has no sales tax. He can explore the Cascades and reach ocean or skiing in a few hours. Yep - it rains a lot, but not as much as Seattle.
Prescott, Arizona: This gem is home to 30,000 people, who enjoy mountain vistas and a temperate, sunny, four-season climate thanks to its mile-high elevation. If you aren’t real fussy, you can find a nice house for $350k. If you are a little fussy or want some land, expect to pay $500k or better. Prescott is an old, established town with historic buildings and strong family culture. It’s true that absentee Californians have snapped up a good bit of the real estate up. But they have been are running around most of the west buying spare homes and putting them in the “bank” for future use.
Northern Baja, Mexico: Don’t write this one off too fast, especially if you are in So Cal. and want a second home near the beach. It is not as crazy as it sounds You can live near the beach in Rosarito and get an absolutely great ocean view or ocean front house for a fraction of the price of a house located two hours north in San Diego county. South of the Border property even has financing available from this side of the border.
Hilo Area on the Big Island: One of the best deals in the United States has been discovered and land prices are climbing rapidly, but guess what? Land in Hilo is still inexpensive. If you are looking for a slow pace, it doesn’t get any slower than Hilo. This area is absolutely beautiful yet not a prime location for vacation resorts and condos. Condos on Kauai, Maui, and the other side of the big island run $500 - $750k, yet a Hilo acre lot can be purchased for $40 to $75k, and houses for $150k. If you want some privacy, like to garden, and have dreamed of building a hideaway on an tropical island, there is still time to do it in the USA. It rains almost daily in Hilo but showers are short and the 75 to 80 degrees temperatures makes the showers and lush green growth a real delight.
Boise is rated as the second best city to do business in the US by Forbes Magazine. It has a population of about 400,000, and median house prices around $165,000. Boise is an excellent gateway to the natural beauty of the Northern Rockies. For those of you not quite ready to hang it up, but looking for an interesting, affordable small city environment, Boise deserves your serious consideration.

While there are numerous options for people to lower cholesterol naturally, thousands and thousands of people are taking prescription medication to lower cholesterol - risking some very dangerous side effects.
These side effects can include:
• An increase in cancer risk
• Elevated liver enzymes (causing liver damage)
• Yellow skin / yellow eyes

• Impaired kidney function
• Muscle weakness and pain
• Dizziness
• Gas
• Headache
• Heartburn or indigestion
• Nausea or vomiting
Crestor, a prescription medication to lower cholesterol, has been linked to the death of a patient who developed a suspected case of severe muscle wasting. Company spokesman Steve Brown said “the death may have been due to a condition known as Rhabdomyolysis and the incident had been reported to regulators worldwide.” Brown declined to say where the death occurred or what dose of Crestor the patient had been taking
For people that are looking for supplements to help lower cholesterol levels, there are many natural supplements available that can lower cholesterol and some of these can even be more effective than the prescription medications - with the added benefit of zero side effects.
A new product and website just released can show you many natural ways to lower your cholesterol, including over 35 natural supplements that will help to melt away high cholesterol levels. Peter Bezant - USA
The above statistic about the death of a patient should serve as a warning. There really is no reason for anyone to be taking prescription medication to lower cholesterol. The side effects are just too dangerous. Once, in the middle of a major consulting assignment I chatted with two managers about the prior customer service training that they had sponsored for their staff.
With derision in his voice, one described the program as “Please & Thank You” training.
Well that’s pretty mindless and wasteful, I recall thinking.
But now, I have a different viewpoint. I believe every customer interfacing person should be taught the importance of saying please and thank you at least five times more often.
It was either Aristotle or Plato who reportedly said that education is the one good thing in life that we can’t get too much of, though I don’t think they encountered chocolate.
But we can definitely add to that short list, courtesy.
Customers love hearing please and thank you, repeatedly, because it makes them feel important. And by uttering these words, we remind ourselves who comes first, in business.
Over the years, there has been a steady democratizing of the employee-customer relationship, and I’m not sure it has been that productive. One sign of it is when a banking CSR asks you who he is speaking to, and you reply with your full name, and he then uses your first name through the remainder of the conversation.
Who authorized him to take such a liberty?
Growing up, the etiquette I learned was that we use someone’s formal name, i.e. Dr. Mr. or Ms. along with the last name, if the person is older, if the person has higher status or power, if we have just met, or until we have been invited by that person to be less formal.
But again, the presumption is that we’re ceding authority and power to the customer. If we think we’re superior or equals, then I suppose we’ll dispense with this customary etiquette.
Some CEO’s like to invert the order of importance, saying that their employees come first, customers second, and stockholders, third. There’s nothing wrong with lionizing your staff, but does it have to come at the expense of other constituencies?
No matter, I’m sure front-line folks wouldn’t mind hearing please and thank you from their managers 500% more often, as well!

Everyone seems to know about Alejo’s. How come I was kept out the loop? Is there anything else that people have been hiding from me? OK, jokes aside, this is a popular place. Often it is completely packed. Recently I had a chance to eat lunch there and observe goings on inside this restaurant with my super critical eye. Nothing can get by me, good food and good service especially … suggested parking is at 83rd and Lincoln.
The interior, or the lack there of it, is very modest at Alejo’s. Very dated chairs, an old carpet and even older wall decorations adorn the space. There are some recognition plaques on the walls dating back many many years. Yikes. It sort of feels like a cafeteria at Alejo’s. It’s busy. For our lunch we selected, the pasta with sausages, onions and peppers, the chicken parmigian and veal piccatta. Prices are not as reasonable as I have heard. Pastas are around ten dollars with meat dishes approaching twelve for lunch. Bread that preceeded the meal was awesome. The olive oil had way too much garlic. We had to wait for a while for our food to arrive. Our dishes were tasty though a bit average. Pasta was overcooked as were the meats and vegetables. The red sauce was a bit too rich for my taste. I could not complete the entire serving due to its large size. The pizzas at adjoining tables looked good. Seems like they know their dough.
So, what is the verdict? I was not impressed by Alejo’s. The pastas were average and I thought that the prices would be more around six dollars then ten dollars as they were. Overall cafeteria style atmosphere also did not draw my attention. For these prices you can find a better place.
P.S. Many will beg to differ and that’s why it is often very crowded.

If I had a dollar for every time I have been asked by a parent what to tell your kids about money, I’d be a millionaire. There are many different aspects of money management you can & should tell your children about. Here I will share with you what I believe are seven of the most important principles.
1. Money can be exchanged for goods or services.
This is one of the first few lessons you should teach your child once they are old enough to understand - usually around the age of 3 years. Next time you go down to the corner store to buy one or two items, let your child hand the money to the cashier. By doing so, they will gain a greater appreciation of the concept of being able to exchange money for things you want or need.
2. One should be careful with money.
Some people I know, seem to think that any coins with a value under 50 cents are just too small to be bothered using, and so when cleaning out their loose change from around the house will simply throw these smaller coins in the bin. What a waste! Encourage your child to be careful with all denominations of money, and show them how those small coins can add up, by starting a family small coins box. Maybe you could use the money to fund small family outings (a trip to the shop to get ice creams).
3. Money has to be earned.
There are many people in the world these days that don’t seem to have ever learned this lesson. They sit around home and expect handouts so they can live, or turn to a life of crime to fund their existence. Be careful not to give your child money every time he or she asks, without expecting anything in return i.e. completion of household chores.
4. Encourage one-third savings, one-third donations, one-third spending.
The exact proportions in which your child divides their money are up to each individual family to decide, based on their beliefs and the needs of the child. This can quite easily be achieved by providing them with 3 piggy banks or moneyboxes - one for spending, one for saving & one for donating.
5. Avoid borrowing money wherever possible.
It is always much harder to repay money that has been borrowed, than to save your money. Some loans, such as home loans, tend to be unavoidable though. A good rule of thumb is if you don’t have the cash to buy it, you can’t afford it!
6. Money isn’t your best friend so don’t let it control your life.
Quite simply, try not to become so over committed with your finances, that you are forced to work 60 to 70 hours a week to continue the lifestyle. If you do, then you are letting the money control your life. You don’t usually need the fancy car (and car loan) or overseas holiday (and personal loan). All these things are nice, but only if you can easily afford them!
7. Show them how to budget & live within their means.
This is one of the most important skills that your child must know, that so many people don’t seem to know how to do. Recent surveys have shown, that many people are spending 10% to 20% above what they earn. They are earning enough money to fund their lifestyle, but they simply aren’t budgeting it, and so are wasting large amounts of money each week.
With these seven lessons under their belt, they will be off to a good start, but there are many more money skills that your child will benefit enormously from learning. If you have no credit history or are trying to repair your credit standing, a bank-secured credit card is your best option. By ’securing’ your credit with your own savings account, you can have a fully functional credit card and be sure that you have the ability to pay whatever balances you accumulate. Read on to find out more.
This kind of card looks and works much like a regular credit card, but uses your bank deposit as a guarantee or collateral. Should you be unable to pay the amount due on time, for example, the bank can apply your deposit to your outstanding balance.
A bank secured credit card is perfect for consumers who do not qualify for regular credit cards either because they have no credit history yet, or because they have gone bankrupt and therefore have undesirable credit ratings. Having a bank secured credit card shows the bank that you are financially capable of paying monthly dues. If you use the card responsibly, the bank may eventually provide you with an unsecured credit line.
Because you will only get to charge an amount that corresponds to your deposit, you can be sure that you won’t overspend. If you find yourself unable to pay the balance, for example, the bank simply deducts the payment from your savings account. With a bank-secured credit card, there’s no risk of incurring debts.
But like all other credit cards, the disadvantages of a bank-secured credit card crop up when you use it irresponsibly. If you do not pay on time, for example, you will be faced with high interest fees and late payment charges.
Most bank-secured credit cards only allow limited transaction frequencies, which means you can only use it a specified number of times. The banks use this measure to protect against overdrafts. It is also quite difficult to close a bank-secured credit card - you will not get your deposit immediately. The bank will keep your money for a few more billing cycles in order to make sure that no sketchy charges were made.
Bank Credit Cards provides detailed information on Bank Credit Cards, Bank Secured Credit Cards, Bank Student Credit Cards, No Bank Account Credit Cards and more. Bank Credit Cards is affiliated with Banking Services.

From our deconstructions of more than 100 Hollywood Blockbusters:
Hero’s Journey
The Hero’s Journey is the template upon which the vast majority of successful stories and Hollywood blockbusters are based upon. Understanding this template is a priority for story or screenwriters.
The Hero’s Journey:
a) Attempts to tap into unconscious expectations the audience has regarding what a story is and how it should be told.
b) Gives the writer more structural elements than simply three or four acts, plot points, mid point and so on.
c) Interpreted metaphorically, laterally and symbolically, allows an infinite number of varied stories to be created.
The Trials
Once the Hero is in the First Threshold, he [in effect] undergoes a series of trials. These are separate and distinct from the trials in the Transformation stage.
The trials in this [and the Transformation stage] follow a number of patterns. One of them is this: Often, the first is passive. The second is proactive. And the third is dramatic.
For example, in A Beautiful Mind (Academy Award Winner,2001):
Trial 1: (passive) Nash just sits in the library for two days: “…you’ve been in here for two days…”"…Martin’s already published a paper and I can’t even find a topic for my doctorate…”
Trial 2: (proactive) Nash hits on the girl in the bar: “…essentially we’re talking about fluid exchange, right…”
Trial 3: (dramatic) Nash and Charles have a fight and throw the desk out of the window: “…that Isaac Newton fellow was right…”

EPICURE’S 7-STEP PROGRAM TO HEALTH
Here at Epicure, we believe it is important for people to not
only evaluate their fitness by the bathroom scale, but also to
focus on increasing their health and their overall physical,
emotional and mental well-being. Epicure promotes a food plan
that is similar to that of the US Health Department
Recommendation (basically a Mediterranean diet), which
encourages a life-style of healthy eating (fruits, vegetables
and low-fat intake) in conjunction with a sustainable exercise
regime. Epicure does note that their 7-step program will help
you lose weight through establishing better eating habits
(resulting in less hunger and emotional eating), but unless a
calorie-controlled diet is specified it may not directly
correlate with a massive weight reduction. However, with a
wholesome balanced lifestyle, with Epicure cuisine you are bound
to reach your optimal weight naturally, without excessive effort
or food deprivation.
1. A balanced food intake
At this moment in time, there are a multitude of popular diets
promoting things such as:
1. high protein with little to no carbs (Atkins); and
2. high carbohydrates but low GI (Glycemic Index, or simple
sugars) (GI Index diet).
In the short term, these diets may help you lose weight, but a
recent study conducted in the US and the UK found that the most
weight people lost on these diets was only 5-10% of their
original body weight, over a year. This is not much if you weigh
150kgs.
The major problem, however, was that most people found it
difficult to sustain such unnatural eating patterns, and after 3
months, 80% of the focus group had not only reverted to their
old, familiar eating habits, but also regained the weight they
had initially lost.
The simple reason for the failure of such diets is that our body
is not designed for the consumption of single food groups only.
The healthiest people in the world and the individuals with the
longest lifespan are primarily from the Mediterranean region,
Japan, and rural central Asia.
So, what are the common denominators in these communities’
diets? 3 simple things:
1. a high vegetarian intake (fresh fruit and vegetables); 2.
fish and meat are consumed in small quantities only, and not
every day; and 3. almost no-one in these communities over-eats.
One of the biggest causes of disease and physical and emotional
stress are caused by overeating. It is no surprise that many
food related illness (obesity, diabetes, etc) are especially
prevalent in western societies, where there is an abundance of
poor-quality food available which is often consumed in excessive
amounts.
2. Fresh foods
In today’s urban society time is a scarce commodity; so many
people tend to shop for food only once or twice a week. Because
of this, we are used to eating a large amount of processed
foods, usually laden with preservatives and nutritional
supplements. These additives can have a detrimental effect on
our well being, and have been linked to the development of
allergies and food intolerances. Therefore, Epicure understands
that it is vital to only eat fresh, whole foods which are bought
and prepared on the day.
3. Non/low- allergenic ingredients
Until the body’s functions are balanced through constant
exposure to a healthy food regime, it is very important to avoid
food stuffs that will slow down the revitalization process.
Where ever possible, Epicure watches out for those allergy
promoting ingredients, without compromising on taste.
After a period of healthy eating, however, you will find that
most of those allergies will naturally disappear.
4. Correct food combinations
Some foods need acidic juices to digest, and others need
alkaline juices. If we eat opposite types at the same time, the
acidic and alkaline juices in our stomach will cancel each other
out, and the food will sit there and ferment, taking longer to
digest. This means that immediately after eating we will begin
to feel sluggish and bloated, and who has time to feel like
that?!! (Please refer to the attached chart).
For example, good foods such as fruit are digested in the small
intestine. If we eat fruit after a meal, the fruit will be held
up in the stomach further slowing digestion; therefore, Epicure
always ensures that such food types are eaten individually, and
at the optimal hour (for digestion) during the day.
5. Hydration
Our bodies are made of 80% water. All chemical and cellular
reactions, transport of nutrients, and waste removal all use
water in their processes. So for optimal functioning of our
system we need to drink a lot of water and eat a lot of fruit
and water-rich foods.
Epicure recommends you drink at least 1-2 liters of water a day,
but as this may seem like a lot for some people we have some
’secret ingredients’ we can add to your water to make it more
palatable, but which don’t add any calories or sugar.
6. Eating times and frequency
Breakfast can be a difficult meal for many people - either they
are too busy to eat and so skip breakfast (not good as it slows
down the metabolism), or they eat the wrong foods, leaving them
tired and lethargic. Neither option is good way to start the day!
Epicure’s research indicates that the most effective breakfast
is fruit (or fruit juice) in the morning, as it works as a
cleanser and gives your brain the sugar intake it needs to
function.
A balanced lunch is essential, but if you’re still hungry in the
afternoon eat something light, and then have dinner as early as
possible. Or, if you prefer, reverse your eating habits and eat
your main meal at lunch time and have a lighter meal in the
evening (as they do around the Mediterranean, which is another
reason they are healthier). Who wants to go to bed on a full
stomach? You will also wake up lighter and more energetic!
7. Exercise
One of the reasons why people in many rural communities around
the world are not overweight is because their life-style forces
them to do a lot of physical exercise, such as farming, lifting,
walking etc.
Epicure suggests that in order to stay fit and healthy, it is
important to do an hour of exercise every day, such as walking,
going to the gym, swimming, yoga, etc. Exercise not only burns
calories and helps you lose weight, but it also elevates your
heart rate, gets your circulation going, and increases your
metabolism. Thus, your body is able to cleanse itself more
effectively which will further increase your energy.
Unlike cars and other machinery, the more we use our body parts
the better they function, so don’t waste any time, get started
on your exercise today!
The incommodity of going to a gaming establishment can be enough to give it up if avoidable. Here, you do not need to move outside for online casino games for it’s easily accessed from home if you have access to a functional computer plus, of course, an internet access account. Yet, don’t start off yet because there are various guidelines and things that you really should be aware of regarding online casino games, specifically should you be inexpert in this department.
Learn everything there is to know about internet online casino bonus here.
The very first thing that yours truly as a sharp Web risk taker would target is an online casino games web site of the sort that is prepared to offer high odds. Make sure that the online casino games web site is evaluated by a reliable certified public accountants company so as to appraise their quoted wagers pay-outs regularly. Always be sure to establish the virtual roulette web site is verifiably licensed, for instance by probing the licensing information as proffered on the casino site pages. If you fail to find any licensing information on a given virtual roulette web site, don’t try to place your bets on that site.
Moreover, another essential bit of advice is obviously to test the odds first in smallish amounts rather than disburse more than does you good off the bat. Check first the health of this particular virtual roulette framework prior to running some grave menace- specifically that of losing your money! My last significant suggestion regarding online roulette. It is this- always to call to mind that betting should be about enjoying it rather than becoming rich. Betting in an online casino isn’t a profession, on the contrary - it’s a diversion that intends to help you feel glad and your life as a whole delightful. Finally, after having complied with all these facts, go ahead and defer to the fascination of virtual roulette!
